Progressive Capitalism?

Although Progressive Capitalism has its downfalls, I believe it would dramatically help us in this time of need. As people continue to loose jobs or have their hours cut our economy declines. I agree that if we found a way to use progressive capitalism to our advantage it could produce more "revolutionary changes" in the workplace. Just as the book discusses, Profit should be the focus of the organization but it shouldn't be at the cost of their employees.

  1. I agree with you. In business it is all about making money-honestly, it really has no other meaning to it. So I see no reasonable explanation as to why the profit of an organziation should be at the cost of their employees. For instance, have you ever come across those adds on job search sites that say you could make hundreds of dollars at home on your own time doing surveys or data entry work? It goes on to explain that its the perfect job for a college student or a stay at home mother because you can make your own hours but you make SO MUCH MONEY. Yeah right- anything that sounds THAT easy and makes you a great amoutn of money is definitly too good to be true. They make you pay a membership or a start up fee to even begin those "jobs." what a scam...
